TRIP INTRODUCTION
Langtang Valley Trek is a moderately short trek of medium dimension trouble in the wonderful Langtang Valley. Langtang valley deceives the north of Kathmandu and on the southern incline of the Tibetan level - compared between snow clad Himalayas in the north and rich green slopes of Mahabharat extend in the south. We begin our visit from Syabrubesi and travel northwards through terraced ranches that gradually offer approach to thick green timberlands and tall white mountains.
The wonderful Langtang town, that was demolished severely by the 2015 seismic tremor, lies on our way. The town is gradually returning to life. We make a beeline for the Kyanjin Gompa from here. The visit gives us a brilliant chance to spot uncommon creatures and fowls - including the musk deer, wild canines, monkeys, red panda, Impeyan Pheasant or Danfe, the national winged animal of Nepal, among others.
The northern compasses of the valley gives a magnificent perspective of mountains including the Langtang Lirung (7,246 m) crest. Icy masses, cascades, streams encouraged by the dissolving snow and mountain vegetation paint a dazzling picture that is in sharp differentiation to the similarly lovely verdant territory further down south of the valley. We remain regularly with the entirely cordial Tamang individuals.
